The Talking Stick originated from indigenous tribes and is a sacred object used in council gatherings and special ceremonies.  When an individual is holding the Talking Stick they
are offered an opportunity to speak from the heart and share their Sacred Point of View,
all others present practice deep listening.  This enables everyone to be acknowledged
and heard.  In a circle setting this energy propagates intimacy and is a means not
only to be heard by others, but more importantly, to hear oneself.
In this workshop you will create your own Talking Stick and learn how to set up a circle.
The benefits of establishing intimacy through this form of communication can be
shared with partners, family and friends.
